Our founder Jenna recently took a trip to Nosara, Costa Rica - A small surf and yoga town on the Nicoya Peninsula. It is only accessible by dirt roads, making it an adventure to get there! Once inside this perfect little town, there are amazing restaurants, incredible yoga, perfect waves and lots of great spots for healthy treats like fresh juices. Hurry before the roads are paved and everyone flocks to this mecca of Pura Vida.
We loved La Luna
for a Costa Rican take on amazing Meditterranean food and the outdoor atmosphere so much, we ate there twice! It's located on a secluded little beach with great tide pools - so head over in the morning for some beach time, throw on a sarong for an amazing lunch accompanied by delicious rose, or go during sunset to the only restaurant on the ocean in Guanacaste.
STAY: The Nomadic Hotel
is brand new and very Instagram worthy with a beautiful pool and white washed walls.
DO: Yoga at the Harmony Hotel
. We adored our "Alignment Flow" class in an outdoor palapa (with fans)
. Grab a fresh juice across the street (there's a super cute cart called Juice CR) on your way home. Or stay afterwards for a delicious sushi dinner. We wish we had had time for a spa session too.
P.S We'd be remiss to not mention the real reason to come to Nosara is the incredible surf. There are great surf schools for adults and kids alike. And lots of great spots to rent a board so jump on in!
: Love Nosara
is a gorgeous outdoor clothing shop owned and operated by locals and featuring only products made in Costa Rica. We loved the hats & Ts in super soft fabrics to bring home a piece of that true Pura Vida.
