How are you spending your Independence day? Whether you're hanging by the pool, having bonfire at the beach, or backyard bbq-ing with friends and family - wrap the celebrations up with a bang! The 4th of July isn't complete without a great firework show. Don't get stuck watching them through your friend's Instagram stories, witness the colorful explosions for yourself! Here are a few of our favorite firework shows in LA.
Pasadena Rose bowl
Recognized as one of the nation’s largest and longest running 4th of July fireworks shows. Enjoy the kid-friendly, pre-show festivities in the stadium such as inflatable rides, games, and crafts. If you don't want to enter the stadium, the fireworks can also be viewed along the Colorado Street Bridge, parking garage rooftops in Old Pasadena, and areas around Arroyo. (photo source: csblocal
Surfrider Beach in Malibu
This is a good one for viewing fireworks over the ocean. You can see the displays that Malibu Colony launch on the water. (photo source: malibutimes by Rebecca Harkness
Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook
You have to hike to get there, but once you get to the top you can see tons of different displays around LA. Make a day out of it - hike up, enjoy a picnic lunch/dinner, and end with a fantastic view of fireworks. (photo source: richfallatjr
